Frequently Asked Questions About High-End Coaching

  • What kind of clients do you typically work with?

I work with individuals who are navigating high-responsibility roles, long-term stress, personal transitions, or recovery-related challenges.

Many are professionals, caregivers, or neurodivergent adults seeking clarity, capacity, and emotional balance in demanding environments.

  • What is coaching, and how can it help me?

Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process that helps you build self-awareness, regulate stress, and develop practical coping tools. Unlike therapy, which may delve into clinical diagnoses or past trauma, coaching centres on your current challenges and desired outcomes.

It’s ideal for professionals looking to improve performance, manage stress, or prevent burnout.

  • Do I need to be sober or in recovery already to work with you?

Not at all. You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Whether you're sober-curious, in early recovery, or simply thinking about making a change, coaching can help you explore what recovery could look like for you.

  • I’m not “struggling”, but I do feel off balance - would coaching still help?

Absolutely. Coaching isn’t just for crisis moments - it’s also preventative.

If you feel like you’re running on autopilot, losing motivation, or having trouble switching off after shifts, coaching can help you reset, reconnect with your values, and find more balance.

  • What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is forward-focused and collaborative. It supports you in setting goals, building awareness, and taking action. Unlike therapy, coaching doesn’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but it can be a great complement to other forms of support.

  • What makes your approach different?

My coaching comes with over a decade of professional practice — grounded in discretion, emotional intelligence, and an understanding of how people function under pressure. I offer space that doesn’t require you to over-explain, mask, or minimise what’s going on.

  • You don’t have to know. Book a free discovery call and we’ll explore together. This is a no-pressure conversation to see if working together feels right — and if not, I’ll do my best to point you in a helpful direction.

  • There is no one size fits all approach. Some people find that after a couple of sessions their motivation and mindset vastly improves.

However, it can take longer to embed these changes, it really depends on the person and their goals.

Typically high achievers and people in a fast past lifestyle that commit to the support see results quicker.

Yes, all coaching sessions are completely confidential. The only exceptions are legal or safeguarding obligations, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Your privacy, trust and growth are my top priorities.

However if it is possible to do face-to-face then we will do (Gloucestershire based).

  • I think I might be neurodivergent — can we still work together even if I don’t have a diagnosis?

Absolutely. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to be supported here. Whether you’re self-identified, late-diagnosed, or still exploring, this is a space where your experience is valid, and support is adapted to fit your needs.
